Peugeot About Motability

Overview

Motability

The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair. In fact, since the Scheme was set up in 1978, Motability has helped over 3 million people get mobile with a new vehicle.

Whether you are a disabled driver or are looking for a vehicle for a family member or carer to drive on your behalf, we are here to help with our extensive Motability car range from many manufaturers.

We understand how important mobility is to your daily life. From MPVs to hatches and estates – we have a vehicle to suit your taste and budget. Our cars can be easily adapted, if required, to meet your disability needs and get you safely and comfortably on the road.

Adapt your car

There is a wide range of car adaptation options available, many at no extra cost, ensuring that your vehicle is accessible and you feel safe and in control at all times.

Some of the available mobility car conversions are:

  • Assisted steering
  • Foot steering systems
  • Accelerator and brake hand controls
  • Adapted foot controls
  • Handbrakes moved to the right hand side
  • Rotating seats
  • Adapted mirrors
  • Wheelchair ramps, tail lifts and hoists
  • People lifts
